The Rules
- Sip — a character enters the basement alone despite every reason not to
- Sip — Tate Langdon appears in the Murder House in his dark sweater without explanation
- Sip — Constance Langdon uses her Southern charm to conceal something monstrous
- Sip — the Rubber Man appears in a new room without announcement
- Sip — Vivien Harmon sees something in the house that Ben immediately disbelieves
- Drink Twice — a ghost reveals they have been dead the entire time in a scene recontextualization
- Drink Twice — Moira appears as either her young self or her true older self depending on the viewer
- Drink Twice — a Murder House victim's death is shown in a 1970s or 1980s flashback
- Shot — the full history of a murder in the house is shown via a stylized period flashback
- Shot — Violet discovers she is dead and has been haunting her own room
- Chug — the Antichrist baby is born and Constance takes him home smiling
Themed Cocktail
Murder House Nightcap
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.5 oz dark cherry liqueur
- 0.5 oz Campari
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp black lava salt
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with black lava salt using a lemon wedge.
- 2Combine mezcal, cherry liqueur, Campari, lemon juice, and chocolate bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake for 12 seconds and strain over a large ice cube into the prepared glass.
- 4No garnish — the black rim and deep red color say everything.
- 5Serve in the dark, preferably not in a basement.
