The Departed Drinking Game + Cocktail

Share:

Two rats in one Boston mob — drink every time you're not sure who's going to survive the scene.

The Rules

  • Sip — Billy Costigan and Colin Sullivan are shown in parallel situations on opposite sides
  • Sip — Frank Costello delivers a monologue about rats, power, or the nature of Boston
  • Sip — The mole within the police or mob is nearly identified and barely escapes exposure
  • Sip — Madolyn is counseling one of the two leads without knowing both are her patients
  • Sip — The South Boston neighborhood is used as a character — location, accent, loyalty
  • Drink Twice — Queenan or Dignam meet Costigan in a parking garage for a covert update
  • Drink Twice — A Rolling Stones song kicks in on the soundtrack at a moment of moral collapse
  • Drink Twice — Colin Sullivan updates Frank while simultaneously being investigated by his own unit
  • Shot — A major named character is shot dead with no cinematic warning
  • Shot — The rat's identity is confirmed by another character in direct confrontation
  • Chug — Costigan is shot in the head in the elevator and Sullivan executes everyone in the building
