The Rules
- Sip — The DOROTHY sensor device is deployed or discussed by the storm-chasing team
- Sip — Jo Harding drives directly toward a tornado while her team protests
- Sip — Bill Harding's fiancee Dr. Melissa attempts to understand the storm-chasing lifestyle
- Sip — Dusty gives a hilariously over-excited play-by-play of tornado behavior
- Sip — The rival team led by Dr. Jonas Miller deploys their corporate DOROTHY knockoff
- Drink Twice — A cow, truck, or farmhouse is sucked past the windshield mid-chase
- Drink Twice — Bill and Jo have an argument rooted in their unresolved romantic history
- Drink Twice — The storm upgrades to an F4 or F5 on-screen with visual confirmation
- Shot — The original DOROTHY sensor array finally deploys successfully inside the funnel
- Shot — Jonas Miller's team is killed when their vehicles are destroyed by the F5
- Chug — Bill and Jo strap themselves to a pipe in an underground barn as the F5 passes directly over them
Themed Cocktail
The DOROTHY
Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz apple juice
- 2 dashes cinnamon bitters
- 1 oz ginger beer
Instructions:
- 1Combine bourbon, lemon juice, honey syrup, apple juice, and cinnamon bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake for 12 seconds.
- 3Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.
- 4Top with ginger beer and stir gently once.
- 5Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an apple fan arranged on the rim.
