The Rules
- Sip — The Joker asks 'Why so serious?' or tells an origin story about his scars
- Sip — Batman uses the gravelly voice to disguise himself from any character
- Sip — Harvey Dent flips his lucky coin, heads or tails
- Sip — Alfred delivers a quiet, wise monologue from the manor or hospital
- Sip — The Bat-Pod deploys or Lucius Fox demonstrates a new gadget
- Drink Twice — The Joker makes a pencil, knife, or grenade 'disappear' as a magic trick
- Drink Twice — Harvey Dent's scarred face is revealed on screen for the first time or shown in close-up
- Drink Twice — Commissioner Gordon is presumed or declared dead on screen
- Shot — The Joker detonates the two hospital ferries and neither side pushes the button
- Shot — Batman steps off the skyscraper ledge and soars above Gotham in the IMAX shot
- Chug — 'You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain' — Harvey delivers his eulogy
Themed Cocktail
The Clown Prince
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz Aperol
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz black cherry syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 tsp activated charcoal simple syrup
Instructions:
- 1Combine mezcal, Aperol, lime juice, black cherry syrup, and bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- 2Shake hard for 15 seconds until well chilled.
- 3Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Float the activated charcoal syrup over the back of a spoon to create a dark swirling layer.
- 5Garnish with a skewered Luxardo cherry and a thin slice of lime with a notch cut out like a smile.
