The Rules
- Sip — Scotty Smalls admits he does not know who Babe Ruth is and everyone is horrified
- Sip — Benny 'The Jet' Rodriguez calls his signature play at the sandlot plate
- Sip — Ham Porter trash-talks a catcher with a new layered insult combo
- Sip — Phillips's rival kids arrive at the pool for a formal baseball game showdown
- Sip — Scotty's stepdad Bill's Babe Ruth ball is visible in the trophy room
- Drink Twice — the group attempts a new Rube Goldberg scheme to retrieve the ball from the Beast
- Drink Twice — Squints stares at lifeguard Wendy Peffercorn with visible intensity
- Drink Twice — Smalls's narration breaks in to comment on something we are watching
- Shot — Squints fake-drowns so Wendy Peffercorn gives him mouth-to-mouth
- Shot — Benny's sneakers light up as he lures the Beast out to chase him
- Chug — the Beast is revealed as a friendly dog named Hercules and everyone exhales
Themed Cocktail
Ham Porter's Pickle Juice Sour
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 0.5 oz pickle brine
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 1 egg white
- 2 dashes dill bitters
Instructions:
- 1Combine bourbon, pickle brine, lemon juice, honey syrup, and egg white in a shaker without ice.
- 2Dry shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- 3Add ice and shake again for 15 seconds.
- 4Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 5Add a drop of dill bitters on the foam and garnish with a cornichon spear on the rim.
