Themed Cocktail
Reuben's Risk-It Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz triple sec
- 0.5 oz jalapeño syrup
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- Salt and chili powder rim
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with lime juice and dip in a 50/50 mix of salt and chili powder
- 2Combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, jalapeño syrup, and agave in a shaker with ice
- 3Shake hard for 15 seconds and strain over fresh ice in the rimmed glass
- 4The jalapeño and chili rim create a risk-proportionate heat level
- 5Adjust heat tolerance by adding more or less jalapeño syrup to taste
- 6Garnish with a lime wedge and a thin round of fresh jalapeño on the rim
