The Rules
- Sip — George calls Lucy for something trivial that he should handle himself
- Sip — Lucy advocates for a community building or public space being demolished
- Sip — George flirts with a new woman while Lucy watches disapprovingly
- Sip — Lucy's replacement June annoys Lucy by being competent and attractive
- Sip — George appears in his corporate boardroom making a deal
- Drink Twice — Lucy gets stuck on the RV and cannot reach a bathroom in time
- Drink Twice — George asks Lucy's advice and then does the opposite anyway
- Drink Twice — Lucy submits her two weeks notice and George refuses to accept it
- Shot — George tells Lucy that June is completely replaceable — unlike her
- Shot — Lucy realizes she is in love with George at June's engagement party
- Chug — George stops Lucy's cab on the street and proposes on the sidewalk
Themed Cocktail
Lucy's Two-Week Notice
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz gin
- 0.75 oz Aperol
- 0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur
- 3 oz Champagne
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
- 1Combine gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice
- 2Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a chilled wine glass over ice
- 3Top with Champagne, pouring slowly to preserve the bubbles
- 4Stir once gently from the bottom
- 5The Aperol and grapefruit create a sharp bittersweet orange hue
- 6Garnish with a grapefruit half-wheel on the rim and a sprig of fresh mint
