- Sip — Indy adjusts or tips his fedora in any scene — action, escape, or conversation
- Sip — Belloq speaks French-accented English condescension directly at Indiana Jones
- Sip — Indy expresses hatred of snakes or freezes in visible terror around them
- Sip — Sallah sings an Egyptian folk song while helping Indiana Jones with a dig
- Drink Twice — The Well of Souls is opened and snakes pour out across the floor in thousands
- Drink Twice — Marion Ravenwood outdrinks a man twice her size in the Nepal bar for money
- Drink Twice — The Nazi convoy is attacked by Indiana Jones on horseback on the desert road
- Shot — The Ark of the Covenant is opened on the island and supernatural fire begins to pour out
- Shot — The faces of the Nazi soldiers melt, explode, or implode while the Ark cleanses them

Themed Cocktail
The Well of Souls
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz ginger liqueur
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 oz dry ginger ale
Instructions:
- 1Combine bourbon, lemon juice, honey syrup, ginger liqueur, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake hard for 12 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- 3Top with dry ginger ale and stir once gently.
- 4Garnish with a lemon peel twisted into a snake-like spiral draped over the rim.
