Grief is the demon — and your glass is the only safe space left.
The Rules
- Sip — Annie Graham works on one of her miniature diorama models on screen
- Sip — the clicking sound from Charlie appears in a scene
- Sip — a character in the Graham family is shown sleeping or waking from sleep
- Sip — the phrase 'Paimon' or 'Hail Paimon' is spoken or written anywhere
- Sip — Annie's grief support group meeting is shown or referenced
- Drink Twice — a demonic symbol appears carved, painted, or burned into a surface
- Drink Twice — Steve Graham tries to rationalize something supernatural as explainable
- Drink Twice — Peter Graham dissociates or stares blankly after a traumatic event
- Shot — Charlie's head is cut off by the telephone pole in complete silence
- Shot — Annie floats to the ceiling and begins sawing her own head off with wire
- Chug — the Paimon cult members bow to Peter in the treehouse as the new host
Themed Cocktail
Paimon's Tribute
Ingredients:
- 2 oz mezcal
- 0.5 oz Bénédictine
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 oz black sesame syrup
- 2 dashes mole bitters
- 1 tsp black salt (for rim)
Instructions:
- 1Rim a coupe glass with black salt using a lemon wedge and set aside.
- 2Combine mezcal, Bénédictine, lemon juice, black sesame syrup, and mole bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds and double strain into the prepared coupe.
- 4Garnish with a small triangle of dehydrated lemon resting on the rim.
