The Rules

  • Sip — Annie Graham works on one of her miniature diorama models on screen
  • Sip — the clicking sound from Charlie appears in a scene
  • Sip — a character in the Graham family is shown sleeping or waking from sleep
  • Sip — the phrase 'Paimon' or 'Hail Paimon' is spoken or written anywhere
  • Sip — Annie's grief support group meeting is shown or referenced
  • Drink Twice — a demonic symbol appears carved, painted, or burned into a surface
  • Drink Twice — Steve Graham tries to rationalize something supernatural as explainable
  • Drink Twice — Peter Graham dissociates or stares blankly after a traumatic event
  • Shot — Charlie's head is cut off by the telephone pole in complete silence
  • Shot — Annie floats to the ceiling and begins sawing her own head off with wire
  • Chug — the Paimon cult members bow to Peter in the treehouse as the new host

Themed Cocktail

Paimon's Tribute

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz mezcal
  • 0.5 oz Bénédictine
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz black sesame syrup
  • 2 dashes mole bitters
  • 1 tsp black salt (for rim)

Instructions:

  1. 1Rim a coupe glass with black salt using a lemon wedge and set aside.
  2. 2Combine mezcal, Bénédictine, lemon juice, black sesame syrup, and mole bitters in a shaker with ice.
  3. 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds and double strain into the prepared coupe.
  4. 4Garnish with a small triangle of dehydrated lemon resting on the rim.
