The Crimson Cloak

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz hibiscus syrup
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.25 oz Campari
• 0.5 oz pomegranate juice
• 1 tsp black lava salt for rim

Instructions

1. 1Rim a coupe glass with black lava salt using a lemon wedge for adhesion.
2. 2Combine mezcal, hibiscus syrup, lemon juice, Campari, and pomegranate juice in a shaker with ice.
3. 3Shake hard for 12 seconds — it should look deeply crimson when strained.
4. 4Double strain into the prepared coupe glass.
5. 5No garnish — the color is the garnish. It looks exactly like what you think it does.
