Sacramento Sunrise

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz reposado tequila
• 1 oz fresh orange juice
• 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz agave syrup
• 1 tsp grenadine
• 1 tsp hot sauce

Instructions

1. 1Combine tequila, orange juice, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice
2. 2Add hot sauce — the ugly truth is it makes everything better
3. 3Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
4. 4Slowly pour grenadine down the side of the glass — it will sink and create a sunrise gradient
5. 5Do not stir — let the colors separate naturally
6. 6Garnish with a half orange wheel and a lime wedge squeezed over the top
