The Jersey Negroni

Ingredients

• 1 oz aged rum
• 1 oz Campari
• 1 oz sweet vermouth
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters
• Orange peel

Instructions

1. 1Fill a rocks glass with one large ice cube or sphere
2. 2Pour aged rum, Campari, and sweet vermouth directly over the ice
3. 3Add Angostura and orange bitters and stir for 25 slow rotations
4. 4The deep red should be the color of a Jersey sunset over the turnpike
5. 5Express a wide orange peel over the glass to coat the rim with citrus oil
6. 6Rub the peel around the rim, drop it in the glass, and serve without further fanfare
