Murder House Nightcap

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz mezcal
• 0.5 oz dark cherry liqueur
• 0.5 oz Campari
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 tsp black lava salt
• 2 dashes chocolate bitters

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with black lava salt using a lemon wedge.
2. 2Combine mezcal, cherry liqueur, Campari, lemon juice, and chocolate bitters in a shaker with ice.
3. 3Shake for 12 seconds and strain over a large ice cube into the prepared glass.
4. 4No garnish — the black rim and deep red color say everything.
5. 5Serve in the dark, preferably not in a basement.
