Zootopia Drinking Game + Cocktail
Anyone can drink — but in Zootopia, some drinks take longer at the DMV.
The Rules
- Sip — Flash the sloth takes an agonizingly long pause before finishing a single sentence
- Sip — Judy Hopps hops with excited energy at the beginning of a new investigative lead
- Sip — Nick Wilde makes a sly sideways comment that is technically not a lie but clearly misdirects
- Sip — Chief Bogo reads from his assignment clipboard without ever making eye contact with Judy
- Sip — Mr. Big refuses to have someone iced because of Judy's connection to his family
- Drink Twice — The naturist nudist animal spa/club scene plays out in extended full cringe-worthy silence
- Drink Twice — Dawn Bellwether's sheep-ish pleasant demeanor covers her next manipulative move
- Drink Twice — Nick's backstory as a muzzled child scout plays on screen in emotional flashback
- Shot — Bellwether shoots Nick with the night howler serum and confesses her conspiracy
- Shot — Judy realizes predators are being poisoned with night howler flowers — not going savage
- Chug — Bellwether is arrested and Judy's press conference speech about trying to be better plays as the city heals
Themed Cocktail
Nick Wilde's Fox Trot
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz coconut rum
- 0.75 oz fresh carrot juice
- 0.5 oz fresh ginger juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp turmeric syrup
Instructions:
- 1Combine coconut rum, carrot juice, ginger juice, honey syrup, lime juice, and turmeric syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake hard for 12 seconds — the ginger and turmeric give this the fox's bite.
- 3Double strain into a chilled coupe to remove all pulp.
- 4Do not garnish ostentatiously — Nick disapproves of unnecessary flair.
- 5Serve with a single carrot stick on the side, balanced on the rim at a deliberately casual angle.
