- Sip — David Durango tries to lead the new Sandlot crew with questionable authority
- Sip — Mac tries to intimidate the Sandlot crew on behalf of the Retriever Squad
- Sip — The Great Fear — the new beast — snarls or appears behind the fence
- Sip — Tarquell shows Johnnie his dad's old newspaper clipping from the original summer
- Drink Twice — the Retriever Squad's remote-control plane lands on the Sandlot field
- Drink Twice — Hayley Goodfarb and Johnnie have a moment that mirrors Smalls and Benny
- Drink Twice — a deliberate callback to a scene or line from the original Sandlot lands
- Shot — the new crew discovers The Great Fear is actually a Timid Junkyard Dog
- Shot — the remote-control plane retrieval scheme goes completely wrong before it works
- Chug — Johnnie and the crew take their rightful place at the sandlot as the new legends
Themed Cocktail
Sandlot Legacy Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz peach schnapps
- 2 oz iced sweet tea
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
Instructions:
- 1Fill a mason jar or highball glass with ice.
- 2Combine bourbon, lemon juice, honey syrup, and peach schnapps in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake for 12 seconds and strain into the prepared glass.
- 4Top with sweet tea and add bitters.
- 5Garnish with a lemon wheel and a fresh basil leaf — for-ever, for-ever.
