The Rules

• Sip — the camera shakes violently during a running or panicked sequence
• Sip — Heather Donahue apologizes on camera while crying into the lens
• Sip — the group argues over which direction they walked or who made a wrong turn
• Sip — a stick figure bundle or stone cairn is found hanging outside the tent
• Sip — Josh voices frustration with carrying the heavy camera equipment
• Drink Twice — the group realizes they have been walking in circles back to the same log
• Drink Twice — a disturbing sound — children laughing, something dragging — is heard in the dark
• Drink Twice — Mike confesses he kicked the map into the river
• Shot — Josh disappears overnight and the group finds his screaming on a tape in the morning
• Shot — Heather discovers a bundle containing teeth and hair that may be Josh's remains
• Chug — Mike stands in the corner facing the wall and Heather's camera drops to the floor
