The Rules
- Sip — Benedick and Beatrice trade insults in rapid-fire Shakespearean wit
- Sip — Don John schemes quietly in the background to ruin someone's happiness
- Sip — Dogberry gives a confidently wrong instruction to the Watch
- Sip — Claudio gazes adoringly at Hero with stars in his eyes
- Sip — Someone eavesdrops on a conversation they were clearly meant to overhear
- Drink Twice — Claudio publicly shames Hero at the altar in front of all their guests
- Drink Twice — Benedick agrees to challenge Claudio to a duel for Hero's honor
- Drink Twice — Don John's deception is exposed by Borachio's confession
- Shot — Hero fakes her death and everyone is convinced she has truly died
- Shot — Benedick and Beatrice finally admit their love after resisting for the entire film
- Chug — The double wedding arrives and Don John is dragged in under arrest to close the film
Themed Cocktail
Beatrice's Bite
Ingredients:
- 2 oz dry white wine
- 0.75 oz elderflower liqueur
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 0.25 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz sparkling water
- 3 fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- 1Muddle basil leaves gently in the bottom of a wine glass.
- 2Add ice to the glass.
- 3Pour white wine, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup over the ice.
- 4Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
- 5Garnish and serve.
