The Rules

  • Sip — A fighter's arcana ability manifests for the first time on screen
  • Sip — Cole Young's dragon mark glows or reacts to danger
  • Sip — Kano makes a crude joke or trash-talks another fighter
  • Sip — Sonya Blade references the Mortal Kombat tournament structure or stakes
  • Sip — Sub-Zero and Scorpion appear in the same scene with shared history tension
  • Drink Twice — Sub-Zero kills or incapacitates a champion to steal their mark
  • Drink Twice — Lord Raiden's lightning strikes or he teleports across a battlefield
  • Drink Twice — Jax's metal arms are damaged or upgraded during combat
  • Shot — Scorpion returns from the Netherrealm and shouts 'GET OVER HERE!'
  • Shot — Cole's ancestral armor manifests and he fully unlocks his arcana
  • Chug — Sub-Zero is defeated and Scorpion delivers the finishing blow in hellfire

Themed Cocktail

Scorpion's Hellfire

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz mezcal
  • 0.5 oz ancho reyes chili liqueur
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar
  • 2 dashes habanero bitters
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika salt for rim

Instructions:

  1. 1Rim a rocks glass with smoked paprika salt and fill with ice.
  2. 2Combine mezcal, ancho reyes, lime juice, and agave nectar in a shaker with ice.
  3. 3Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
  4. 4Add habanero bitters on top.
  5. 5Garnish and serve.
