- Drink Twice — whenever the same actor appears in a completely different character role
- Drink Twice — whenever the tunnel echo scene is used to build dread
- Drink Twice — whenever the folk horror imagery of the church carvings becomes significant
- Shot — whenever the body horror escalates to a genuinely disturbing physical sequence
- Shot — whenever Harper directly confronts a male figure who will not acknowledge her truth
- Chug — whenever the grotesque male rebirth sequence unfolds in the manor's final act
Themed Cocktail
The Green Man
Ingredients:
- 2 oz green Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 0.25 oz yellow Chartreuse
- 2 oz sparkling water
- 5 fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- 1Muddle basil leaves with honey syrup in the bottom of a shaker.
- 2Add both Chartreuses, lime juice, and ice.
- 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds.
- 4Double-strain into a rocks glass over ice.
- 5Top with sparkling water and stir once.
