The Rules
- Sip — A contestant's bake collapses, cracks, or refuses to come out of the tin
- Sip — Paul Hollywood walks over to a contestant's bench and folds his arms
- Sip — Prue Leith takes a bite and pauses for an uncomfortably long time before commenting
- Sip — A host makes a terrible pun about the week's baking theme
- Sip — A contestant says they are 'running out of time' with at least 45 minutes remaining
- Drink Twice — Paul Hollywood gives a contestant an official Hollywood Handshake
- Drink Twice — A contestant's showstopper is described as having a 'soggy bottom'
- Drink Twice — Someone cries or has to be consoled after receiving criticism
- Shot — A contestant is named Star Baker for the week
- Shot — A contestant accidentally drops, burns, or ruins a bake in the final minutes
- Chug — The eliminated baker walks out of the tent for the last time with grace and dignity
Themed Cocktail
The Hollywood Handshake
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Calvados
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water)
- 0.5 oz chamomile tea, brewed and cooled
- 1 oz sparkling wine
- Ice
Instructions:
- 1Combine Calvados, lemon juice, honey syrup, and cooled chamomile tea in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake for 12 seconds until well chilled.
- 3Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Top gently with sparkling wine.
- 5Serve with the dignity of a showstopper that actually worked.
