The South Boston Gold

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz lager (Boston Lager or similar)
  • 0.5 oz Irish whiskey
  • 0.25 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water)
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Instructions:

  1. 1Pour the lager into a pint glass and let the head settle.
  2. 2Combine Irish whiskey, honey syrup, and bitters in a small glass and stir.
  3. 3Float the whiskey mixture gently over the back of a spoon onto the lager.
  4. 4Serve immediately — best drunk in a Southie bar booth.
