Girls Drinking Game + Cocktail

Hannah Horvath is the voice of her generation, or at least a voice of a generation — drink up.

The Rules

  • Sip — Hannah says or does something profoundly self-absorbed without any self-awareness
  • Sip — Marnie gives unsolicited life advice while her own life is visibly falling apart
  • Sip — Shoshanna uses a word, phrase, or pop-culture reference completely incorrectly
  • Sip — Jessa disappears, shows up late, or disrupts a plan with zero explanation
  • Sip — Adam Driver does something physically strange, intense, or unpredictable as Adam Sackler
  • Drink Twice — Hannah's OCD, HPV, or other health anxiety becomes the episode's B-plot
  • Drink Twice — Marnie performs a song in an inappropriate social setting and is not well-received
  • Drink Twice — A man in the girls' lives does something disappointing and they are somehow surprised
  • Shot — Hannah reads her writing aloud to a group and the response is not what she expected
  • Shot — Jessa relapses, cheats, or blows up a relationship with spectacular self-destruction
  • Chug — Hannah makes a decision entirely based on what is best for her essay or book
