The Rules

  • Take a sip every time Forrest says, 'My mama always said...'
  • Take a sip when Bubba talks about a different way to cook shrimp.
  • Take a sip whenever Lieutenant Dan complains about his situation or expresses extreme cynicism.
  • Take a sip when Jenny makes a questionable life choice (e.g., gets into a stranger's car, performs on stage, is with an abusive partner).
  • Take a sip whenever Forrest accidentally influences a major historical event (e.g., Elvis' dance, Watergate scandal).
  • Take a sip when someone says the iconic phrase, 'Run, Forrest, run!'
  • Take a sip every time a feather floats across the screen.
  • Take a sip when Forrest unknowingly achieves something extraordinary (e.g., Ping-Pong champion, war hero, starting a jogging craze).
  • Take a sip when Forrest offers someone a chocolate from his box.
  • Take a sip when you see a 'Gump' product or company name (Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Gump Waffles, etc.).
  • Take a shot when Forrest meets a U.S. President.
  • Take a shot when Jenny leaves Forrest again.

Themed Cocktail

The Box of Chocolates Cocktail

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Dark Crème de Cacao (chocolate liqueur)
  • 0.5 oz White Crème de Cacao
  • 0.5 oz Half-and-half or light cream
  • Chocolate syrup (for garnish)
  • Ice
Instructions:
  1. 1Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a chilled martini glass, creating a decorative swirl.
  2. 2Combine vanilla vodka, dark crème de cacao, white crème de cacao, and half-and-half into a shaker filled with ice.
