The Rules

  • Sip — The Event Horizon's experimental gravity drive is shown or explained
  • Sip — Dr. Weir has a vision of his dead wife Claire with her eyes sewn shut
  • Sip — Captain Miller orders the crew to restrict access to a section of the ship
  • Sip — A crew member is shown alone in a corridor and hears or sees something wrong
  • Sip — The ship's distress signal Latin phrase 'Liberate me' is played or discussed
  • Drink Twice — A crew member experiences a personalized hallucination tied to their deepest guilt
  • Drink Twice — Dr. Weir's behavior becomes noticeably more erratic and obsessive
  • Drink Twice — The gravity drive activates and bends space inside the ship
  • Shot — Dr. Weir gouges out his own eyes and offers them to the darkness
  • Shot — Captain Miller discovers the video log footage of what the first crew did to each other
  • Chug — Dr. Weir tears open the hull to merge the ship with the dimension beyond

Liberate Me

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Islay scotch
  • 0.5 oz black walnut liqueur
  • 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 dash mole bitters
  • 1 dash orange bitters

Instructions:

  1. 1Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. 2Stir for 35 seconds until deeply chilled and diluted.
  3. 3Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
  4. 4Express a lemon peel over the glass and discard.
  5. 5Garnish and serve.
