- Sip — Francis Walsingham advises Elizabeth on a conspiracy against her
- Drink Twice — Elizabeth escapes or foils an assassination attempt on her life
- Drink Twice — The Catholic Church or Pope moves openly against Elizabeth's reign
- Drink Twice — Elizabeth cuts her hair and transforms into her iconic white-faced image
- Shot — Elizabeth executes a traitor with cold deliberate authority
- Shot — Elizabeth rejects a suitor and declares she is married to England
- Chug — Elizabeth stands before her subjects fully transformed as the Virgin Queen
Themed Cocktail
Virgin Queen's Mead
Ingredients:
- 2 oz mead or honey wine
- 0.75 oz brandy
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 oz rosemary simple syrup
- 2 oz dry sparkling white wine
Instructions:
- 1Combine mead, brandy, lemon juice, and rosemary syrup in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir gently for 15 rotations to combine without over-diluting.
- 3Strain into a goblet over one large ice cube.
- 4Top with dry sparkling white wine.
- 5Garnish and serve.
