The Rules

  • Sip — A stranger approaches Paul in public to tell him he was in their dream last night
  • Sip — Paul tries to use his dream fame to advance his stalled academic career
  • Sip — Paul's wife Janet looks concerned while Paul just seems pleased with the attention
  • Sip — A new person describes a dream Paul appeared in and the scenario gets weirder each time
  • Sip — Paul poses for a photo with a stranger who treats him like a minor celebrity
  • Drink Twice — Paul's dream persona turns violent and he wakes up to angry messages
  • Drink Twice — Paul tries to control what happens in people's dreams and utterly fails
  • Drink Twice — Paul's daughters distance themselves from him as the public turns against their father
  • Shot — Paul attempts to monetize his dream presence and it goes badly wrong immediately

The Passive Dreamer

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 0.75 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz lavender syrup
  • 1 dash orange bitters

Instructions:

  1. 1Combine gin, Lillet Blanc, lemon juice, and lavender syrup in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. 2Stir for 25 seconds until well chilled.
  3. 3Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
  4. 4Add a single dash of orange bitters on top.
  5. 5Serve quietly, as if you weren't expecting anyone.
