Themed Cocktail

Dowager's Wit

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz dry Champagne
  • 0.5 oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters

Instructions:

  1. 1Place a sugar cube at the bottom of a chilled Champagne flute.
  2. 2Add two dashes of Peychaud's bitters directly onto the sugar cube.
  3. 3Pour St-Germain and fresh lemon juice gently over the cube.
  4. 4Top slowly with chilled Champagne.
  5. 5Do not stir — let it rise on its own terms.
