Themed Cocktail
Heisenberg Blue
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz dry curaçao substitute — use butterfly pea flower syrup instead
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave syrup
- 1 tsp black salt
- Smoked black salt rim
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with lime juice and smoked black salt — the chemistry must be precise
- 2Combine mezcal, butterfly pea flower syrup, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice
- 3Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- 4Strain into the prepared glass over a large ice cube
- 5The butterfly pea flower will give it the electric blue of Heisenberg's product
- 6Garnish with a lime wheel dusted with smoked salt and a blue cocktail pick
