Themed Cocktail
Whatever It Takes
Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 oz Averna amaro
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 lemon peel (for garnish)
Instructions:
- 1Combine bourbon, honey syrup, lemon juice, Averna amaro, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice
- 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted
- 3Strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large hand-cut ice cube
- 4Express a lemon peel over the top and lay it flat on the ice
- 5Serve as is — no further garnish, because some things don't need to be complicated
