Red Pill / Blue Pill

Ingredients

• 1 oz mezcal
• 1 oz hibiscus-infused tequila
• 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz agave syrup
• 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 1 tsp activated charcoal syrup

Instructions

1. 1Prepare two separate mini shot glasses — one with hibiscus tequila and one with activated charcoal syrup.
2. 2Combine mezcal, lime juice, agave syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice; shake 12 seconds.
3. 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. 4Float the hibiscus tequila on one side and the charcoal syrup on the other to create two visible layers.
5. 5Garnish with a split-color dried lime wheel — half left natural, half dusted with red sanding sugar.
