Rosehill Cottage Hot Toddy

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Scotch whisky
• 1 oz elderflower liqueur
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 tsp honey
• 4 oz hot water
• 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

1. 1Warm a mug or Irish coffee glass by rinsing with hot water and discarding
2. 2Add honey to the warmed glass and pour in a small amount of hot water to dissolve it
3. 3Add Scotch whisky, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice
4. 4Fill with 4 oz of hot water just off the boil and stir gently to combine
5. 5Place a cinnamon stick in the mug as a stirrer
6. 6Garnish with a wheel of lemon studded with three cloves on the rim of the glass
