The Mint-in-Box Manhattan

Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.75 oz sweet vermouth
• 0.25 oz maraschino liqueur
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• 1 brandied cherry

Instructions

1. 1Add rye, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and both bitters to a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled.
3. 3Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass.
4. 4No ice in the glass — serve neat.
5. 5Garnish with a brandied cherry on a pick and an orange peel expressed over the top.
