Inspired by Solo: A Star Wars Story
Ingredients
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 0.75 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 oz demerara syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Lemon twist for garnish
Instructions
- 1Combine rye, Amaro Montenegro, lemon juice, and demerara syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake hard for 12 seconds.
- 3Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
- 4Dash orange bitters over the top.
- 5Express a lemon twist over the surface and drop it in.
- 6Dark, fast, a little rough around the edges. Like its namesake pilot.
