El Gato's Golden Egg

Ingredients

• 2 oz tequila reposado
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz turmeric-honey syrup
• 0.25 oz Cointreau
• 0.5 oz fresh orange juice
• 1 tsp smoked paprika salt for rim

Instructions

1. 1Mix smoked paprika into coarse salt and rim a rocks glass by pressing the moistened edge into the mixture.
2. 2Combine tequila, lime juice, turmeric-honey syrup, Cointreau, and orange juice in a shaker with ice.
3. 3Shake hard for 12 seconds — Puss always goes all in.
4. 4Strain over a large ice cube in the rimmed glass.
5. 5Garnish with a wide orange peel twist and a single gold cocktail cherry — the golden egg in miniature.
