The Garrison Bitter

Ingredients

• 2 oz Scotch whisky
• 0.5 oz Benedictine
• 0.25 oz demerara syrup
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters
• 1 orange peel for garnish

Instructions

1. 1Combine Scotch, Benedictine, demerara syrup, and both bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until properly diluted and chilled.
3. 3Strain into a chilled rocks glass over one large ice block.
4. 4Express an orange peel over the surface, rub it along the rim, and drop it in.
