The Romero Shambler

Ingredients

• 2 oz dark rum
• 0.75 oz blackberry liqueur
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz simple syrup
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 pinch activated charcoal (for color)

Instructions

1. 1Dissolve activated charcoal into simple syrup to create a dark charcoal syrup
2. 2Combine dark rum, blackberry liqueur, lemon juice, and charcoal syrup in a shaker with ice
3. 3Add Angostura bitters and shake for 12 seconds
4. 4Strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube
5. 5Garnish with three fresh blackberries on a cocktail skewer
