Ingredients

1.5 oz rye whiskey
0.75 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1Combine all ingredients except bitters in a shaker without ice and dry shake for 15 seconds.
2Add ice and shake again vigorously for 20 seconds.
3Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
4Dot the foam with bitters and draw a pattern through them with a toothpick.
5Serve immediately.
