Claddagh Sour

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Irish whiskey
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 0.5 oz green apple liqueur
• 1 egg white
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Dry shake Irish whiskey, lemon juice, honey syrup, green apple liqueur, and egg white without ice
2. 2Add ice and shake hard again for 15 seconds
3. 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass — the foam should hold and be bright white
4. 4Dot Angostura bitters on the foam and drag a cocktail pick through to make a heart
5. 5The green apple liqueur gives it a crisp orchard note against the Irish whiskey
6. 6Garnish with a thin green apple slice balanced across the rim of the coupe
