Event Horizon

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz dark rum
• 0.75 oz Kahlúa
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz simple syrup
• 0.5 oz heavy cream
• 1 dash activated charcoal (optional, for color)

Instructions

1. 1Combine dark rum, Kahlúa, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake vigorously for 12 seconds.
3. 3Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. 4Gently layer heavy cream over the back of a bar spoon to float it on top.
5. 5Dust lightly with activated charcoal if using, and garnish.
