Arnold's Root Beer Float

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz vanilla bourbon
• 0.5 oz amaretto
• 1 tsp simple syrup
• 5 oz cold root beer
• 1 large scoop vanilla ice cream
• 1 dash Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Pour vanilla bourbon, amaretto, and simple syrup into the bottom of a tall soda glass.
2. 2Add a dash of bitters and stir briefly to combine.
3. 3Pour root beer slowly down the inside of the glass to reduce foaming.
4. 4Gently lower one large scoop of vanilla ice cream into the glass.
5. 5Allow the foam to rise and settle before serving with two straws.
