Keri Tate's Nerve Tonic

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz Averna amaro
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 1 dash orange bitters
• 1 oz sparkling water

Instructions

1. 1Combine mezcal, Averna, lemon juice, honey syrup, and orange bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake for 10 seconds and strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
3. 3Top with sparkling water and stir once gently.
4. 4Garnish with an orange peel twist and a single dark cherry on a pick.
