The La Doll Dagger

Ingredients

• 2 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz hibiscus syrup
• 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.25 oz black cherry liqueur
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 tsp activated charcoal salt (for rim)

Instructions

1. 1Rim a coupe glass with activated charcoal salt mixed with a pinch of chile powder
2. 2Combine mezcal, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and black cherry liqueur in a shaker with ice
3. 3Add two dashes of Angostura bitters and shake vigorously for 15 seconds
4. 4Double-strain into the prepared coupe glass
5. 5Garnish with a maraschino cherry speared on a cocktail pick to mimic the dagger
