The Candyland Smash

Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 1 oz blood orange juice
• 0.75 oz honey syrup
• 0.5 oz Amaro Nonino
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Combine rye, blood orange juice, honey syrup, and Amaro in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 20 seconds until well chilled.
3. 3Strain over a single large ice cube in a rocks glass.
4. 4Add bitters on top and give one gentle stir.
5. 5Express a wide orange peel over the surface and drop it in.
6. 6Garnish with the flamed orange peel and a Luxardo cherry.
