Ingredients

1.5 oz dark rum
0.75 oz pomegranate juice
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz hibiscus syrup
0.25 oz Aperol
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1Combine dark rum, pomegranate juice, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, and Aperol in a shaker with ice.
2Shake for 12 seconds until well chilled and deeply red.
3Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
4Dash Angostura bitters on top and garnish with a lime wheel — it looks like the Hellmouth at sunset.
