2 oz rye whiskey
0.5 oz Aperol
0.5 oz fresh orange juice
0.25 oz simple syrup
2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

1Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
2Shake for 10 seconds until chilled.
3Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4Express an orange peel over the top.
5Drop the peel in and serve.
