Blue Magic

Ingredients

• 2 oz cognac
• 0.75 oz blood orange liqueur
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.25 oz demerara syrup
• 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 1 oz chilled club soda

Instructions

1. 1Combine cognac, blood orange liqueur, lemon juice, demerara syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake hard for 12 seconds.
3. 3Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
4. 4Top with club soda and stir once gently.
5. 5Garnish with a wide blood orange peel, expressed and draped over the glass edge.
